Hi. I have four really nicely bred 4 and 5 year old geldings who are going under saddle, mainly having been ridden on trails so far..(I ride mainly english, but they could go well either way) They are happy to carry a rider and moving forward nicely. ready now for some more formal type schooling in other disciplines. I don't have time to do much ring work, so if there's anyone in 4-H or something like that, (with a knowledgable coach to help you bring a young horse along) this could be your chance to have a quality horse to work with and enjoy for a time, without having to buy one. They are just too good not to be getting out there and doing some other things.
Two of them are purebred Canadian horses, one is bright bay half Arab half Canadian and one is an arab/mustang/appy cross with a blanket. All are registered, and have been handled and raised with a 'horse-knowledgable' partnership approach.
For both parties sakes, I like to have written one year lease agreements, with a first option for you to renew the lease, or to buy the horse at a pre-specified price, incase that's the way things go.
I can also help with transport to get the horse to where you are, (within reason!)
