Porky- a Belgian/Haflinger cross gelding. He stands 15 hands and is a powerhouse of a horse. We believe Porkys main job was pulling farming equipment or he may have even been used for weight sled competition. Hes a VERY easy keeper, does well with his feet, loads, leads, ties and trailers well. He has been taken out on trails but is a horse that requires regular riding. He takes a while to settle in to new places and with new poeple. Hes not dangerous or hard to handle...just gets a bit snorty at times. He is a light breed in a draft body. This guy has the energy to go all day, strong! Hes more of a follower than he is a leader. If your looking for something that is draft without the laziness of a draft, well you sure have found him! Porkys adoption fee is $700.
