Jameson is a fabulous young gelding who is started under saddle (is not finished work at the canter yet) but is quiet and gentle enough that anyone can ride him. Jameson has a great personality with a ton of character and he sincerely enjoys people. Jameson has lovely gaits including a wonderful trot and a smooth canter. Jameson gets along well with other horses, is a treat to be around and is just learning to be a sporthorse. Jameson is responsive to the rider: but is a young horse that you can already feel safe putting an intermediate beginner on. Jameson can be set in the paddock for a month, then pulled out and ridden he is totally un-complicated. Jameson is in part time training (he just turned 3 in mid-September) so he is doing well developing a consistently round frame at the walk and trot but is still working on the canter! Jameson is easy to catch, he ties, cross ties, is great to saddle and bridle, loves to be groomed, picks up his feet nicely and stands well for the vet and farrier. Jameson lunges, lunges in side reins and is overall an intelligent and willing young horse with a superb work ethic. Jameson is a lemon chestnut color with a flax mane and tail and white on his face. We expect that Jameson will mature to at least 16 hands: his sire is 17.3 hands Kilpeck Diamond Knight (RID) who is currently a jumping horse. Jameson has the great King of Diamonds breeding and his bloodlines bespeak his athletic ability. Jameson has great feet and legs with good bone and he LOOKS like an Irish Sporthorse! If you are looking for a future fox hunter, eventer or dressage gelding this may be the perfect horse: his attitude is so super that anyone will have a great time with him.
