I bought Smoke as a project and he's come a long way. He does pretty good under saddle. I have ridden him on the road and traffic does not seem to bother him at all. He will lead or follow, but doesn't seem too sure about riding alone. He will longe, cross tie, stands well for farrier, clips and loads nicely. Smoke needs at least an intermediate rider who has a firm yet gentle hand with the time and patience to give him some TLC and reassurance. He is willing and learns rather quickly. It seems he has not had a real positive past and is working on building his confidence up. He's kinda shy until he gets to know you, but is a very gentle soul. He has a more "independent" personality and isn't much of an "in your back pocket" kind of horse. This is not a child or beginner's horse. He has a nice smooth gait with lots of "go". Would possibly make a nice barrel horse. He is all QH on the top of his pedigree with lots of foundation such as Poco Bueno and Poco Dell. He is all UTD on his shots, worming and farrier.
