Mama (Dun in Crystal) is a SOUND 20 year old Quarter Horse. She's retired from the show ring, but she is still a FANTASTIC lesson and trail horse. I've put very young children on her bareback in riding lessons and never had a problem. She gets a little arthritis when it gets cold, but not even enough to require medication. I wouldn't even consider selling her had I not lost my job and my house.
