Mountain Welsh Pony grade. We bought this pony 3 weeks ago. We found out that he has a ligiment disability that requires him to need physical therapy. The Vet. said he needed to work on hills to strenghthen his ligment (patilla). He is a very sweet and mellow pony. He walks, trouts, and has a pretty good stop. My daughter who is 12 had been riding him everyday down our city streets and into the open space, he did great! Not spoky at all. My daughter is a beginner rider and he would do well with another child or small adult. He just needs someone who can give him the therapy he needs. Price does reflect his disability. Currently you need to back him up in order to get the ligiment back in place. Then he can be riden. With time & him building strength the Vet said he will be much stronger in the back leg. I don't know if he will ever be 100% but, he is a really nice horse if someone has the time and know how. The name of the disability is Upward Fixation of the Patilla if you would like to google it.
