I have a beautiful Tennesse Walker, that would make an awesome barrel racer or a trail horse thats ridden alone. He is a sorrel with one white hind sock and a star, stripe and snip. He is up to date on all his coggins worming and shots. He will come right up to you when you whistle for him. He is very smart and knows how to bow, kneel, lay down, park out, collect up and say "yes" and "no", all on cue!. He's very smart, and learns quickly. He has never been sick, and the farrier says he has REALLY good feet! He loads, clips, ties, bathes, stands for farrier and being saddled. I ride him alot to the grocery store, so traffic doesn't bother him. He knows all of the Pat Parelli ground work(all you have to do is shake your finger at him to get him to back up), you can walk him anywhere without a halter and he will follow you, i have alot of people tell me that it looks like his head is glued to my shoulder! He is really good at lateral flexion too. I have spent ALOT of time with him on the ground, I just dont really know how to work with him while I'm riding him. I have also shown him at the local shows and have won 1st and 2nd place ribbons in the trail classes, and I have gotten 6 1st place ribbons in the gaited classes!
The reason for selling him is because I have alot of kids that want to ride, and he does great if you want to lead him around, but not with them riding him alone.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call or e-mail them to me.
