2003 registered/branded chestnut Hanoverian mare. Cossette was bred by Hilltop farm and is out of one of their Elite Hanoverian mares Roxette, Rubinstein I out of Werula (Werther-Pik Bube I). Roxette was champion of her states licensing in Germany as a three year old and soon after won the regional finals for the 3,4, and 5 year old states premium mares. Her sire Contucci was named #1 stallion on the USDF breeders championship's Top Sires of 2005 list. He has produced 7 finalist with an average score of 76.782%! USEF has also announced its 2005 champion's which include Contucci as the 2005 USEF leading sire in dressage breeding. Cossette is a wonderful combination of both her parents. Naturally uphill conformation, beautiful neck and powerful hindquarters. Her temperament is second to none. She is easy to handle and loves to be around people. Cossette started her under saddle training on 3/1/06 and doing fantastically well. Her trainer Sharon Jerdeman was chosen by Hilltop farm for their Young Dressage Horse trainers symposium in 2005. Cossette is getting the best start she could possibly have! Cossette is also eligible this year to take part in her mares performance testing. She will make a lovely dressage mare, but also with her stellar pedigree, will make a great addition to any serious breeders program. Cossette can be seen in Ocala Florida by appointment.
