If you're looking for something special you've found it! Marijke is a purebred Friesian mare imported from the Netherlands and is just under three years old. She should mature anywhere from 15.3hh to 16hh. She has a pedigree filled with STER predicates, and comes from stam line 15, the SAME stam line that has produced the Approved stallions: Ygram 240, Meindert 263, Gaije 295, Adel 357, Lolke 371, and Tsjalke 397. Her inbreeding co-efficient is a super low 2.93%!

Tsjibbe her sire is only available at stud in the Netherlands and is a highly regarded stallion in Europe. Marijke's bloodlines are fantastic and her conformation superb! And even more amazing is her temperament! She is the most laid back friendliest horse, and not just for her age, she is calmer than most 20 year old horses! I have never seen her spook once. She is traffic safe, nothing fazes her.

Marijke loads easily, trailers without a fuss, stands for the ferrier, leads, ties, bathes, clips and is very easy to handle. She has not been saddled due to her young age but I have been on her bareback a couple of times just recently with no bridle or halter and she acted like she's been doing it for years. This is a horse that you can break for riding in less than a day with no problems whatsoever. She has the most beautiful trot and a wonderful canter, she was built for dressage.

Marijke loves people and is incredibly social, she gets along well with children, men, women, other horses and other animals. She has never had any injuries or illness and is an easy keeper. She is suited for many disciplines and would excel in dressage, driving, as a trail horse and as a broodmare. With a little training she would also make a fabulous childrens horse. I would never be selling this horse if it weren't for the fact that I'm expecting my first child and am moveing out of town and can't bring her with me or afford to board her.
