"Smokey" is a registered 5 year old gelding with the demeanor of a 12 year old. (He'll be 6 in April 2007)He is 16 hands tall. He is very sound and safe on trails, in a ring or in a group. He behaves great for you on the ground, being tacked, and for the farrier. He clips, ties, and trailers wonderfully. UTD on shots and coggins.
His gaits are very smooth and not trotty. His canter is like being in a rocking chair. His gallop is very nice to ride as well. He is not spooky on trail and will take the time to look at something new versus jumping from it. He prefers to be handled by women than men.
I really hate to part with him because he is so good but I have to sell him. I just had a baby and can't give him the time that I want. He is so well behaved I was even riding him while I was pregnant.
