Sired by the wonderful Connemara stallion CUTUSHA'S CASHEL ROCK, Bailey is a really beautiful, classy and correct light palomino 1/2 Connemara large-pony gelding. Still in his original home, Bailey's college student owner is just too busy at this time in her life to enjoy or spend time with Bailey, so he is being offered for sale. Bailey stands 14.1 hands and has mostly been ridden on the trails over the years. His owner believes that with his graceful, flowing gaits, that he could become a great little hunter/jumper or dressage mount for a petite or junior rider with more training. He is always very willing to go to work; he usually picks up the correct lead in the arena, and has been schooled over cavalletti. Bailey is very sweet, friendly and has a puppy-dog personality, but can show his stubborn pony side sometimes. He loads and hauls nicely and puts on a "oh how scary" act when you first start up the clippers or turn on the hose to bathe him, but he is just playing games and quickly settles down to be a good boy. Bailey is healthy, sound, up-to-date on all his shots and worming and lives up by Bellingham, Washington. Since Bailey is athletic, alert and energetic, he would do best with an intermediate or better rider. Another way to go would be to send him to a trainer who has the skills to really advance his training. Although he is still quite "green", he has LOTS of potential for the show ring in the future.
